This Ford F-150 Might Have A Land Rover Turbo Diesel V6

Photographers managed to capture this Ford F-150 around Dearborn, MI. Not only was it spotted wearing camouflage around the bed, but it also consists of a Jaguar-Land Rover turbo diesel V6!

The F-150 prototype sports a Venturi exhaust tip which you can see protrudes out the side of the rear bumper behind the wheel.

Sources suggest that this truck is powered by the 3.0-liter Lion V6 diesel that Jaguar Land Rover is bringing over for the Td6 models of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport.

The engine produces 254 horsepower, a good 443 pound-feet of torque, and is tipped to be mated to the same ten-speed automatic transmission as the new Raptor. This could give the truck the muscle and fuel economy needed to challenge the Ram 1500 Eco Diesel and the heavier-duty Nissan Titan and the Cummins engine.

Its lightweight aluminum body might allow the F-150 to surpass the Duramax diesel-powered Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon for frugality at the pumps.
