H.E.U.I. Fuel system – SIEMENS injectors.
- Injector hold-down bolt: 26 lb-ft.
- Oil Rail ‘log’ manifold 8 lb-ft.
*NOTE* The most common install issue with these injectors is not having the injector FULLY seated and CORRECTLY torqued. If the copper tip sealing gasket does not properly ‘crush’, the injectors will start to leak in a couple of weeks time.
*PRO TIP* Once the injector is installed, we suggest to gently tap the top of the injector with a clean brass hammer and double-check the hold-down fasteners to ensure they are a minimum of 26 lb-ft. and can be as high as 30 lb-ft. without a problem.
*NOTE* Injector installation torque is critical to injector life and performance. Ensure the injector bore and injector seat are SPOTLESSLY CLEAN before installing. Debris/carbon can prevent injectors from sealing correctly which can create leaks or poor running complaints.
